The Fondazione Badaracco and the Libreria delle donne di Milano are promoting a three-day seminar to learn how to work with documentary, iconographic, photographic, and bibliographic sources from the political archive of the Libreria delle donne, on the occasion of its 50th anniversary.
The bookstore was opened in 1975 by a women’s collective—the first of its kind in Italy—and continues to be a fundamental site for culture and gender identity today.
The seminar is aimed at teachers, students, archivists, activists, and readers interested in the history of Italian feminism.
No archival experience is required, and a certificate of attendance will be issued at the end.
