Milan, Fondazione Corrente, via Carlo Porta, 5

Conference curated by Deianira Amico and Fiorella Imprenti.

The conference explores Milan in the 1970s through case studies investigated using archival sources from city institutions, highlighting the intersections between the arts, social movements, and cultural policies from various critical perspectives. The initiative, sponsored by the Municipality of Milan and the Lombardy Region, is part of the emerging network of Milan’s Political Archives, which includes Fondazione Aldo Aniasi, Fondazione Badaracco, Fondazione Bassetti, Fondazione Corrente, Fondazione ISEC, and the Archivio del Lavoro di Sesto San Giovanni. These entities collaborated on the organization of the event, with the aim of systematizing shared heritage and methodologies.
