MilanoCultura: The Political Engagement of Alba de Céspedes

VI edition of the Milanosifastoria Project: Silvana Citterio, IRIS – Milanosifastoria Network

A reflection on the political and cultural engagement of Alba de Céspedes, a leading figure in public debate both through the novel Dalla parte di lei (1949) and through her editorship of the magazine “Mercurio” (1944-1948). The meeting is part of a project funded by the Presidency of the Council of Ministers for the 70th anniversary of the Republic, coordinated by the Fondazione Elvira Badaracco in Milan, in collaboration with the “Sapienza” University of Rome.
