International Seminar: MUJER, PRENSA Y COMUNICACIÓN
16 October 2019
Women have participated in journalistic publishing since its inception and, despite the social difficulties in excelling in the fields of essay writing, documentation, or graphic arts, they have performed essential work in the development of the press and media, especially since the last third of the century.
These achievements have not yet been analyzed in relation to new perspectives on culture and information.
The meeting aims to be a space for debate and reflection on the role of women in journalism and the media from a philological and audiovisual perspective, through the study and experience of women active in newspaper columns or with an impact on public networks as illustrators, photographers, and graphic storytellers.
Panel: Italian Women Editors and Journalists
Participant
Francesca Rubini (Sapienza University of Rome) Italian women journalists and writers at the origins of the Republic.
