To commemorate the fiftieth anniversary of the death of Renata Viganò (Bologna, June 17, 1900 – April 23, 1976), Sapienza University of Rome and the Gramsci Foundation, in collaboration with the Elvira Badaracco Foundation, are organizing

1) a series of meetings at Sapienza: “How Renata Viganò worked” (March 4, 11, and 25; April 22)

2) a seminar at the Gramsci Foundation: “Andare a morire. War, politics, writing” (April 23)

3) a theatrical performance in Paris and Milan: “L’Agnese va a morire”, by and with Cinzia Spanò (April 1; April 24–26)
