Subject: The documentary, promoted by the UDI “Elsa Bergamaschi” study center, collects the testimonies of three women: Evelina, a 79-year-old housewife; Grazia, a 32-year-old clerk; and Simonetta, a 24-year-old judicial secretary. The three generations are characterized by different struggles for the affirmation of women’s rights, which are recalled by the interviewees. Through their memories, the path taken by the UDI since the formation of the first women’s defense groups during the Resistance is reconstructed. The documentary concludes with the demonstration held in Rome on June 10, 1977, three days after the Senate rejected the new abortion law.
