The film is built entirely on testimonies collected in various parts of Italy and in various situations: a factory occupied by female workers, a nursery school, a family planning clinic, and a maternity ward. The story of an emblematic motherhood serves as the common thread of the investigation. The documentary also aims to stimulate greater awareness of the male-female relationship so that it truly becomes an equal relationship.
